TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Contracts of carriage are entered into with Pacific Island Air and tickets are issued subject to these terms and conditions, which the passenger by purchasing a ticket acknowledges having read and understood and agrees to be bound by them. Verbal promises and representations by booking agents or Pacific Island Air servants and agents will not be recognized by Pacific Island Air if they are inconsistent with these terms and conditions.

ARRIVAL CONCOURSE

All passengers connecting from international arrivals please make your way to the Pacific Island Air domestic terminal check-in counter #6.

PAYMENT TERMS

If credit is approved, payment is due a maximum of 14 days from date of invoice.

If credit is not approved, payment is due immediately by credit card or direct money transfer.

Rates are inclusive of all Government Taxes.

Rates are subject to change due to major increases in oil or fuel prices, tax increases and currency devaluation.

CHECK IN –CLOSE OUT TIME.

Pacific Island Air requests that booked passengers check in 30 minutes prior to departure to allow the completion of facilitation processes and an on-time departure.

FLIGHT TIMES

Although departure times are confirmed at the time of booking-actual times are subject to change due to flight scheduling. Flight schedules are completed the day before travel. CARRIAGE OF PASSENGERS

• Pacific Island Air is a charter-based airline.

• Flight times may vary slightly from those originally published due to daily flight scheduling. Where possible, any alterations or amendments will be communicated to the client/passenger and resorts the day before the date of travel.

SCHEDULE CHANGES AND DISRUPTIONS

• Changes once ticketed are subject to availability and will incur a FJD50 service fee.

• Changes within 7 days of travel are not permitted.

• Pacific Island Air will use all reasonable endeavors/efforts to provide to you the mode of transport or services the subject of the Booking but, in circumstances beyond our control, we may without notice substitute other means of transport or service. We will not be liable for any Loss you may incur as a result of any such substitution.

• Travel around the islands of Fiji can be affected by weather or other unforeseeable events which are beyond the control of Pacific Island Air.

• Should weather conditions or these unforeseeable events dictate that flights cannot be carried out passengers may be required to find alternative transport or overnight which would be at their own expense. We will not be liable for any loss or extra expenses you may incur as a result.

• Pacific Island Air reserves the right to alter prices, cancel departures, arrange alternative transport, and vary itineraries and services in any way whatsoever without any liability to a passenger if deemed necessary.

• For avoidance of doubt and without limiting any other term or condition of carriage, all services are subject to weather conditions.

• Travel insurance is strongly encouraged.

• A letter will be given to disrupted clients to give to their insurance provider.

• Where another company or persons operate the transfer, activity or excursion, Pacific Island Air is only acting as a Sales Agent. Responsibility for the operation and liability for any mishap lies with those operators solely and not with Pacific Island Air.

COMPENSATION

• If the flight has been delayed due to operational/technical delays, you may wait in the airport departure lounge at the Domestic Departure terminal or be transferred to a nearby Airport Hotel for added comfort during the wait for the situation causing the delay to improve.

• Alternatively, if flying is not an option, we will endeavour to provide alternative transport, if necessary, via boat or land.

• If we’re unable to offer you an alternative flight until the next day, we will provide hotel accommodation and transport to/from the hotel.

CANCELLATION/REFUNDS/NO SHOWS

Fare is refundable if booking is cancelled before 14 days of departure.

Cancellation inside 14 days of departure is non-refundable.

"No Shows" will result in cancellation of sector and value of ticket being forfeited.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

International connecting passengers are entitled to a maximum of 20kg baggage allowance on Fixed Wing Aircraft and 15kg on Helicopters. Excess baggage fees of FJD10.00 per kilogram will be enforced.

2-12 years 70% of adult fare

The passenger shall not take onto the aircraft or include in his luggage any explosives, volatile spirits, corrosives, any easily ignitable articles, or offensive thing likely to cause inconvenience to other passengers or anything likely to endanger the aircraft, other passengers, or goods.

Pacific Island Air shall not be liable for the loss of or damage to monies, negotiable securities, gold, silverware, jewellery, ornaments, works of art, or other valuables, even if such valuables have been deposited with it for the agreed purpose of safe-keeping whether such loss or damage may be due or alleged to be due wholly or partly to negligence or misconduct or fault on the part of Pacific Island Air, its servants or agents or otherwise howsoever.

With effect from 1 August 2023, Pacific Island Air is now able to offer availability based on booking a min two adult (2) fares to the MAMANUCA Group of Islands.

 

The YASAWA group will remain at a minimum of four (4) per person fares for the foreseeable future.

 

This schedule is offered on our airconditioned EC130 B4 Helicopters from Nadi Airport and vice versa on a daily timetable a below. (Subject to weather)

Whilst the min 2 per person fares policy for the resorts in the Mamanuca Group will resume from 1st August 2023, the rates will only apply to our flight timetable of:

Nadi to Mananuca 10am and 2pm

Manamuca to Nadi 10.20am and 2.20pm

Any flights outside these times will be based on min 4 per person fares or charter rate.
